Vehicle Tags and Licenses See Significant Fee Hike in NC
[WECT] North Carolina DMV fees increased by 19% starting today, impacting about 90 licenses and registration-related fees. Vehicle tag renewals rose from $38.75 to $46.25, and an 8-year driver's license renewal now costs $44, up from $36. The fee hike is based on changes in the Consumer Price Index and is more than double the previous increase.
NAACP and GOP React to the firing of Superintendent Charles Foust
