Looking for something exciting to do this weekend? The 2024 MCAS Cherry Point Air Show, headlined by the U.S. Navy Blue Angels, promises thrilling aerobatic displays and military demonstrations. Held on Saturday and Sunday, the event features historic and modern aircraft, military vehicles, and family activities. Admission and parking are free, offering a close-up experience of Marine combat forces in action, including a Marine Air Ground Task Force demonstration and individual aircraft showcases like the AV-8B Harrier.

NCDOT Completes Cape Fear Memorial Bridge Project Early, Lanes Reopening Tonight!

[NCDOT] The Cape Fear Memorial Bridge preservation project is ahead of schedule, with westbound lanes reopening on May 8. NCDOT expresses gratitude for the community's patience during the construction. Additional work includes platform removal and counterweight modifications, requiring nightly lane closures.
