Frying Pan Tower's Grand Prize Helicopter Trip Enhances Restoration Efforts
Frying Pan Tower, an offshore structure, offers a chance to win a weekend getaway through a restoration raffle. The grand prize includes a helicopter trip for four, featuring meals by a private chef. Proceeds contribute to the tower's restoration, vital for safety and educational purposes, including aiding distress calls and marine education. Monthly prizes offer day trips. Run by a non-profit since 2018, the tower serves as a key viewpoint during hurricanes and rescue operations, fostering collaborations with Coast Guard, FAA, and Homeland Security.
