Happy Columbus day!

Weekend attack on Israel

TOGETHER WITH

Good Morning Wilmington
Happy Columbus Day! This is the day that some of us have off work so that we can post memes on whether Christopher Columbus was a “Good guy” or a “Bad Guy.” I wonder who will win this year?

What a great weekend to catch up with ol friends and meet some new ones! The weather was pretty much perfect!

Big weekend in geo-politics and world tension as Hamas attacks Israel. The attacks were intense and the visuals horrific–as I’m sure the retaliation by Israel will be. According to the Hama commander in the west bank of Palestine: “The death toll in Gaza jumps to 198 with more than 1,600 people wounded. The number of Israeli deaths has risen to 100 and those injured to 1,000.” Israel Prime Minister Netanyahu responded to the attacks saying “The enemy will pay a price it has never known before.” Biden released a statement saying “Israel has a right to defend itself and it’s people. The United States warns against any other party hostile to Israel seeking advantage in this situation. In a surreal moment Hamas militants parachuters dropped into an Israeli rave-like music festival like the school scene from Red Dawn. Important to note that the Biden administration unlocked $6 billion in funds for Iran in exchange for hostages one month ago.

Without getting into the politics of what appears to be a full war, the whole situation is pretty tragic and considering where all of this turmoil is happening, you might consider topping out your fuel tanks.
