Happy Veterans Day!
IN THIS ISSUE: Veterans Parade, Epic Lawsuit

FRIDAYS TOGETHER WITH

Good Morning Wilmington!
Our country is arguably last holdout of freedoms and liberty in this world. This resilience owes much to the dedication of our veterans, to whom we express gratitude for their unwavering commitment and the sacrifices made by them and their families in service to this great country.
In recognition of their sacrifice and spirit I dedicate this issue to our veterans–some of which I am honored to know are my readers and my friends.
Happy Veterans Day!
Enjoy your weekend. Keep in mind that we expect to get some rain on Saturday night with more rain Sunday with a cold front giving us a cool weather on Monday.

Epic CEO says Google wants to ‘kneecap’ competition as antitrust trial begins
[SOURCE] Epic Games is currently engaged in a federal court trial against Google, similar to its battle with Apple, over an antitrust suit, even though it has lost an ally in the case. Epic's CEO, Tim Sweeney, expressed his rejection of Google's "user choice billing," accusing Google of controlling, surveilling, and taxing transactions between users and developers. This legal battle is part of Epic's ongoing efforts to challenge both Apple and Google, with the goal of securing a partial victory against Apple in the Supreme Court, possibly by early 2024. Despite recent settlements and deals made by other companies, Epic remains determined in its fight against these tech giants.
