We experienced UNCW’s Move-In day first-hand. They really do have their processes down. Parents drive up with their student’s belongings to be greeted by multiple volunteers who take the belongings to the student’s room. It couldn’t be much easier. Congrats to UNCW on a successful move-in weekend!

UNCW Basketball Season Tickets Now on Sale for 2024-2025

[FOX] Season tickets for the 2024-2025 UNCW men's and women's basketball teams are now available. The men's team, led by Coach Takayo Siddle, will play nine home games, including a notable match against Kentucky. Tickets start at $109. The women's team, under Coach Nicole Woods, also has a strong lineup with new and returning players. Tickets for the women's games are $85. Both teams will face various non-conference opponents at Trask Coliseum.

Pandemic Fallout: NC Child Care Providers Shutter as Funds Dry Up

[EDNC] North Carolina has seen a 5.3% decline in licensed child care programs since February 2020, with the pace of closures doubling in the past year as pandemic-era stabilization funding has expired. Family child care homes have been disproportionately affected, with some rural counties losing all their home-based programs. While urban areas have seen the most significant decreases, even rural and suburban counties that once showed gains are now facing losses as funding continues to dwindle.
