On August 20 every year hurricane forecaster, Dr. Bill Gray, would ring a bell denoting the start of the climatologically most active portion of the Atlantic hurricane season. Historically, about 2/3 of all Atlantic hurricane activity occurs between August 20 - October 10.

Kevin Keatts’ New Venture: Tempo 33 Piano Bar Debuts in Wilmington

[WECT] NC State basketball coach Kevin Keatts has opened a new piano bar, Tempo 33, in downtown Wilmington with his business partner Clayton Gsell. Located on the top floor of the Roudabush building, Tempo 33 offers live entertainment, a stylish bar, and chic seating. The bar will be open Thursday through Saturday nights, officially launching on August 16. Keatts, who previously coached at UNCW, spent over a year searching for the perfect location before settling on this spot above Yosake and The Husk.
