News
Military Cutoff Road Extension set to open tomorrow!
After six years and $95 million the extension connecting Market Street to NC 140 is set to open tomorrow. Hopefully this will significantly reduce traffic on Market Street. Let’s not forget those 220 homes that were displaced for the right-of-way.
NC driver’s license renewal extended
Recently ratified NC budget bill doubles the amount of time you will have to wait to get your license renewed. DMV not happy as this may conflict with the federal Real ID Act. Otherwise this means smaller lines and less interaction with DMV offices.
