TUESDAYS TOGETHER WITH YOU
Good morning Wilmington!
Here’s a posts found on Facebook–
STOP THE PRESSES… launch moved to Tuesday 6:07 pm😖
ROCKET LAUNCH ALERT: tonight at 6:32 SpaceX will launch a rocket from Florida on a northeast trajectory, meaning it will fly through our corner of the sky. And because of the launch time being so close to sunset it should be quite visible to us. So to get ahead of confusion or concern here is what it will look like. No, you won’t see flames shooting out the back of a metal cylinder. It will be too high for that. Look east about 3-minutes after launch. Be advised, launches get delayed and even cancelled MANY times. But as of this posting it is still scheduled for 6:32 (with a 1-hour window).

UNCW Researcher Heads to Antarctica to Study How Sea Urchins Survive Extreme Cold
[WWAY] UNCW marine biologist Dr. Jake Warner is leading an 8,000-mile research trip to McMurdo Station in Antarctica to study how sea urchins adapt to extreme cold. By comparing DNA from Antarctic urchins to those from Wrightsville Beach, Warner’s team hopes to uncover genetic changes that enable survival in harsh conditions. The project, funded by the National Science Foundation, benefits from modern DNA sequencing technology. Graduate student Kristen Boddy, accompanying Warner for a second time, describes the experience as both scientifically valuable and breathtakingly beautiful. Despite Antarctica’s isolation, McMurdo Station hosts over 1,000 people year-round, fostering a unique research community.

Yesterday Eric Trump tweeted that it’s a “Great time to add $ETH”. He should know because the Trump family crypto investment company has been purchasing enormous amounts of it lately. As I am writing this Ethereum is currently valued at about $2,800. It is not too late to get into crypto. Sign up for Coinbase through my referral link and we’ll both get $10 in Bitcoin! Buy your ETH before the price skyrockets. -Jason | ![]() |
