Amazon Expands in Pender County with New Fulfillment Center

[WECT] Amazon is expanding in southeastern North Carolina with a new fulfillment center at Pender Commerce Park. Construction has already started, joining a planned delivery station announced in 2022. While work on the delivery station has yet to begin, it’s expected to create over 100 full-time jobs with wages starting at $15/hour. A groundbreaking ceremony for the fulfillment center is expected soon.
