MONDAYS TOGETHER WITH YOU

Good morning Wilmington!

I hope you all had a fantastic Thanksgiving. Today is Cyber Monday. Lots of great deals on the Internet that can make for significant holiday savings. Keep in mind that Donald Trump is talking about implementing some stringent tariffs once he is in office so there’s reason to believe that the cost of merchandise from products manufactured overseas will go up.

Here are some links to Cyber Monday Deals

In today’s Port City Pulse:

  • Leland Welcomes Sandbar Oyster Company’s Expansion

  • NC to Set Limits on PFOS, PFOA, and GenX by 2025

Leland Welcomes Sandbar Oyster Company’s Eco-Friendly Expansion

[SOURCE] Sandbar Oyster Company has opened a new manufacturing facility in Leland, NC, to produce its innovative Oyster Catcher product. The structures promote oyster reef growth, combat coastal erosion, and support marine habitats. The company plans to employ 12 people, with recruitment focusing on local talent from marine-focused programs. The move aligns with Leland's economic goals to attract marine biology and life sciences industries, highlighting the town's commitment to sustainable development and business growth.
