NHC School Board Member Calls for Vote on Attorney’s Status After Offensive Comment

WECT A New Hanover County school board member says the board must formally vote to clarify whether attorney Brian Kromke has been permanently removed or temporarily suspended after an offensive Facebook comment. Board member David Perry plans to introduce a motion next week, citing confusion and poor communication surrounding the decision. While the board chair says ties have been cut, Perry believes the matter may still be unresolved and is calling for transparency and a clear board decision.
