The American Red Cross is hosting several blood drives throughout Southeastern North Carolina this fall.

Mullet Bar Raises $15,785 for American Fish Company After Tragic Shooting

WECT — The Mullet Bar in Southport raised $15,785 for the American Fish Company during a private fundraiser after a mass shooting left three dead and five injured on Sept. 27. The restaurant, which closed indefinitely following the tragedy, will host a larger public fundraising event on Oct. 18, partnering with local nonprofit Southport Cares to facilitate donations. The community continues to come together to support those affected by the devastating incident.
