PCP - MON OCT 14: Fall Homestead Conference

IN THIS ISSUE: Moore County Democrat Arrested for Removing Trump Campaign Signs | NCDOT seeks your feedback on project to widen South Front Street

MONDAY TOGETHER WITH YOU

Good morning Wilmington!

I stopped by the Fall Homestead Conference in Rocky Pointe. The Out of Square Homestead holds this event twice a year to help build a community of self-reliance. It was here that I met Ross and Marta DeMay of Live Edge Lumber. They actually brought along their own portable lumber mill! Live Edge Lumber offers custom lumber slabs, grapple dump truck services and log pickup. Ross and Marta can be reached at 910-663-5152

Beautiful weather today but a cold front will bring colder weather for the rest of the week.

Tomorrow Donald Trump will be launching a cryptocurrency called World Liberty Financial. This is a big deal for cryptocurrencies. You can listen to a twitter space session about World Liberty Financial featuring Eric Trump. Needless to say, this is very bullish for cryptocurrencies. If you are interested in acquiring bitcoin or another currency, use this referral link to open a Coinbase account and both you and I will receive $10 in Bitcoin!

Moore County Democrat Arrested for Removing Trump Campaign Signs

[WRAL] Moore County Democratic Party chair and state House candidate Lowell Simon was arrested for removing Donald Trump campaign signs. Simon admitted to taking the signs, which he said were obscuring his own campaign signs, and expressed frustration over ongoing issues with sign placement. Simon was charged with misdemeanor larceny and released with a promise to appear in court. The sheriff reminded residents that removing political signs during election periods is illegal in North Carolina.
