New Hanover County STAR Center Set to Open for Medical Detox Later This Month
WECT The NHC Stabilization and Re-entry (STAR) Center will officially open later this month, providing medically assisted detox, crisis stabilization, and transitional housing in Wilmington. Operated by LINC and RHA Health, the 14,000-square-foot facility will include 16 inpatient detox beds and two transitional housing beds. Renovations cost $4.28M and were funded through state grants, contributions, and the property purchase, aiming to expand local support for residents in recovery.
