Have you seen photos from your northern friends of the Aurora lights last night? Turns out, the show reached us too — with stunning colors dancing over Wrightsville Beach. Tonight could be another great opportunity to catch the lights. Head somewhere dark and open — like the beach or west of Wilmington — for your best chance at seeing the sky come alive.

Wilmington Homeowner Gets First Shipping Container Home from Local Company

WWAY Wilmington’s Craftspace has delivered its first shipping container home, installed in a downtown backyard. The 320-square-foot home features one bedroom, one bathroom, and an open kitchen, with 95% built in the factory before delivery to avoid construction delays and weather issues. CEO Bryan Kristof says the project showcases the potential of compact, efficient living spaces and is ideal for those embracing a smaller home lifestyle. The unique home marks a milestone for the local company after a lengthy certification process.
