[WECT] Jackeys Creek Investors are seeking annexation of over 1,100 acres into Leland, NC, though plans for the land remain unclear. Meanwhile, Forestar Real Estate Group wants to modify Brunswick Forest's master land use plan to add homes while preserving wetlands. The Leland Town Council is also considering new parking requirements for hotels.

Downtown Wilmington Welcomes Immersive Escape Room with Four Themed Experiences

[WilmingtonBiz] Game Over Escape Room, featuring four themed rooms including "School of Magic" and "Lost City of Atlantis," has opened in downtown Wilmington. Entrepreneur Logan Zanki transformed a former Shaw University building into an immersive experience, complete with detailed set designs like waterfalls and carved stone walls. Zanki plans to expand the business to Myrtle Beach and Raleigh. Tickets start at $44.99 per person, with groups of two to eight allowed to participate.
