Save Sledge Forest Town Hall Set for 6:00 PM Tonight at UNCW

[Save Sledge Forest] A town hall meeting at UNCW’s Lumina Theater on April 14 will spotlight the urgent fight to Save Sledge Forest, an ecologically significant area threatened by the proposed Hilton Bluffs development. Hosted by Save Sledge Forest, the event will include presentations from local environmental leaders and outline ways the public can get involved. All are welcome to attend and learn how to help protect this unique ecosystem.

​Riverlights Breaks Ground on Riverhouse Recreation Center​

[Wilmington Biz] Riverlights, a 1,400-acre master-planned community in Wilmington, is undergoing significant expansion. Construction has begun on Riverhouse, a 3,048-square-foot amenity and recreation center featuring gathering spaces, a fitness facility, and outdoor recreational areas, with completion expected in winter 2025. Additionally, the community is developing 7Bridge, a 121-acre mixed-use village that will include residential units, a senior living facility, and commercial establishments. Upon completion in 2026, Riverlights will comprise 3,100 homes, including various housing types.​
