Local Panthers Fan Group Heads to Germany for Big Game
[FOX] The Carolina Panthers are set to play the NY Giants in an international game in Munich, Germany. Southeastern North Carolina’s Port City Riot fan group, including Christian and Tom Simmons and Rachel and Duane Adams, is traveling overseas to show their unwavering support. Dedicated Panthers fans known for their motto “Keep pounding,” the group cherishes their sense of family, community involvement, and loyalty, no matter the team's performance. After a recent win against the New Orleans Saints, their optimism for this overseas match is high, proving their love for the team goes beyond the game.

Seamless Transfer: UNCW’s Pre-Hawk Program for CFCC Students
[UNCW] UNC Wilmington, in partnership with Cape Fear Community College, has launched the Pre-Hawk program to ease CFCC students’ transition to UNCW. The program offers direct admission to UNCW after earning an associate degree, pairing participants with UNCW advisors and mentors. Benefits include early campus integration, academic workshops, social events, a free class at UNCW, and a $2,000 scholarship upon transfer. This program is designed for high-achieving CFCC students with a GPA of 3.2 or higher, fostering community and academic success.
