MONDAYS TOGETHER WITH YOU!
Good Morning Wilmington!
WECT reported that there was a bomb threat at UNCW over the weekend. Thankfully it did not take long for the police to determine that it was a hoax. The student has been identified and the matter is being addressed through the Dean of Students Office.
Now that we’re past the cold spell you can look for mild to warm weather throughout the week with possible showers from Thursday to Sunday.

Membership Scanning at Costco's Door? A New Shopping Experience on the Horizon
[Seattle Times] Costco is testing a new policy that requires shoppers to scan their membership cards before entering the warehouse, potentially changing the shopping experience. The test, observed at a Washington location, involves scanning the card at the entrance, aiming to prevent membership-card sharing and streamline checkouts. While some Reddit users approve of the efficiency, others express concerns about potential long lines. This follows Costco's previous crackdown on membership-card sharing, which sparked frustration among customers.

Breeze Airways announces new RDU nonstops to each coast
[News & Observer] Breeze Airways is set to introduce nonstop flights between the Triangle (Raleigh-Durham International Airport) and San Diego, becoming the sole airline serving this prominent destination from RDU. The airline will also initiate nonstop flights to Westchester County Airport near New York City. Starting April 30, the San Diego flights will operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays, while the Westchester flights will begin on May 3, operating on Mondays and Fridays. Both routes are not considered seasonal, but Breeze may adjust services based on leisure travel demand.
