PCP MON JUN 17: Mayfaire Town Center Welcomes New Stores
IN THIS ISSUE: Eagle’s Dare Pushes for Concert Permit Changes

MONDAYS TOGETHER WITH YOU
Good morning Wilmington!
I stopped at By the Beach Brewing on Friday. I always wanted to check it out. The owner and brewer, Guy Gulutz was tending bar. He made great beer and great company. Guy told me that one year for Christmas his wife Kim offered him lessons on how to make beer. He took come classes and loved it. Years later By the Beach Brewing became a family venture! This is truly a family business: Guy, his wife Kim, his brother Jesse, daughter Kayla and even his mother Maryann all do their part to help run the brewery.
They feature 8-12 craft beers at any given time. On 'Frankenstein Fridays,' Guy brews a 5-gallon creative batch of beer for his customers to try, adding a unique twist to the brewery's offerings and ensuring there's always something new and exciting on tap.

What really got my attention is the care that they put into making this an inviting space. From the outside, it appears like a nice clean warehouse next to an office. The inside includes three primary spaces: the warehouse which features the bar, pool table, games, even a kid’s table

A covered outdoor area with tables and chairs with an area for cornhole to the side

Then an indoor space that makes you feel like you’re in a cool, clean rental property by the beach!

Bottom line: Great place to spend some time with the whole family and makes an excellent venue for a party. Important to mention that Guy is an army veteran–Thank you for your service Guy. Come on by and say ‘Hi’ to Guy and try one of his tasty beers!
By the Beach is located at 104 Eastwood Road and is open:
Wednesday-Friday: 2-9 PM
Saturday: noon-9PM
Sunday: noon-8PM
