Besides being a favorite day for Star Wars super fans, don't overlook the "May the Fourth" beach cleanup happening at Fort Fisher this Saturday at 8 AM. Also, this year, May the fourth coincides with tryout day for Wrightsville Beach Ocean Rescue at Crystal Pier on Wrightsville Beach at 8:30 AM. And let's not forget, this year May the fourth lands on Kentucky Derby Day.

Following May the fourth? Cinco de Mayo, naturally!
