Rep. Iler Proposes Bill Allowing Leland Residents to Recall Elected Officials
[WWAY] Rep. Frank Iler introduces a bill allowing the recall of elected officials in Leland, responding to resident concerns about a proposed tax hike and town hall expansion. The bill, filed Tuesday, proposes a recall option if 25% of registered voters petition for it. If passed, it won't impact Leland's charter until 2025.
