Wilson Center Launches ‘Hello Arts!’ for Greater Community Access

[WECT] The Wilson Center at Cape Fear Community College has launched the ‘Hello Arts!’ initiative to increase ticket access for nonprofits, underserved populations, and families. This program will offer free tickets to qualifying nonprofits and $15 student tickets. It also aims to provide CFCC students with hands-on industry experience and certifications through mentorship and workshops.

Ocean Cure Helps Seniors Enjoy the Beach Again

[ABC11] Ocean Cure and Liberty Senior Living's Brightmore of Wilmington teamed up to help seniors enjoy beach days again. Using large mats and specialized wheelchairs, they enable those with mobility issues to access the beach and ocean. This partnership offers seniors the chance to relive beach memories and share stories.
