Proposed Greenfield Lake Amphitheater Changes Include VIP Section
[WECT] The Wilmington Historic Preservation Commission will review proposed updates for Greenfield Lake Amphitheater, including a new VIP area, a grassy fenced-in section with chairs, a small bar, a food truck, and relocated Azalea Festival Queen Plaques. The meeting is on June 13 at 5:30 p.m. in City Council Chambers.

Over 1 Million NC Students to Receive SUN Bucks for Summer Nutrition
[Spectrum 1] For the first time, over a million North Carolina students will receive extra food assistance this summer through the USDA's new SUN Bucks program. Starting June 14, eligible students will receive a one-time $120 benefit to help prevent child hunger during the summer months. SUN Bucks will be loaded onto existing EBT cards or issued via new SUN Bucks cards.

Wrightsville Beach Pavilion
Address: 2 Bob Sawyer Dr, Wrightsville Beach, NC 28480
Venue for the farewell dance on Sunday.
Located in the Municipal Complex, steps from the intracoastal waterway and about a mile from the beach.
Features a shady pavilion with a wooden dance floor and seating.
Notes: Summer weather likely to be hot; wear cool and comfortable clothing. Alternate air-conditioned venue available in case of rain or extreme heat. Stay tuned for details.
