Raleigh orthodontist offering free gun to those signing up for Invisalign treatment
(INSIDER) A North Carolina orthodontist is offering patients who sign up for Invisalign treatment a free gun. But the company behind the teeth-straightening aligner, Align Technology, says it has nothing to do with the promotion.
Jason Gladwell of Gladwell Orthodontics in Raleigh is giving patients the option of receiving a free Glock 19 as part of the "Grins and Glocks" promotion, according to CNN Newsource.
Glock 19s retail for more than $500, with Invisalign costing upwards of $3,000.
And Align Technology has tried to distance itself from the offer..

Thanksgiving grocery giveaway this weekend @MLK Center
[WECT] The MLK Center on 8th Street in Wilmington is gearing up to host its Second Annual Thanksgiving Grocery Giveaway this weekend.
Community partners are coming together to help those struggling to make ends meet have everything they need for a Thanksgiving meal.
Organizers say any and all members of the community are welcome to come and shop free of charge from 12 until 3 on Saturday November 18th.
We’ll have everything from fresh produce, collards, kale, cabbage, all the way to non-perishable items like greens, beans, potatoes, rice…” said Fawn Rhodes, HHS Equity Coordinator.
Organizers say all groceries will be first come, first served while supplies last.

The Great Christmas Light Show
NOV 20-DEC 30 (Closed Thanksgiving Day & Christmas Day): 5:30 PM–9:30 PM in North Myrtle Beach
The Great Christmas Light Show is a park-wide lighted celebration that is sure to capture the true spirit of the season! The drive through light show will feature over 2 million lights festively displayed along a 2-mile drive throughout the North Myrtle Beach Park & Sports Complex. Over 500 magical light displays, some up to 55 feet tall, have been custom made for The Great Christmas Light Show. Visitors will experience NEW enchanting animated figures and holiday scenes where the lights will come to life.
After journeying through the light show, we invite everyone to park their car and visit Santa’s Village where they can enjoy hot chocolate and s’mores, get an up-close look at the lights on the Santa Express Train Ride, and, of course, meet Santa!
2023 Dates and Hours
The Great Christmas Light Show, Drive Through Experience will be open November 20 through December 30*. (Closed on Thanksgiving Day, November 23, and Christmas Day, December 25)
Gates open 5:30 pm to 9:30 pm.
Santa’s Village is open Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday ONLY from November 24 through December 10. Open Nightly December 14 through 30 (Closed on Christmas Day).
Admission - Prices
Vehicle when Santa's Village is Closed (up to 15 Guests) $15 per vehicle
Vehicle when Santa's Village is Open (up to 15 Guests) $20 per vehicle
16 to 30 guests: $50 per vehicle (All Nights)
31 or more guests: $100 per vehicle (Only Available Monday - Thursday)
* There are no online ticket sales or advanced ticket sales. Purchase tickets at the entrance gate before entry.
* Golf Carts, attached pull behind trailers, boats, and flatbeds are NOT allowed in the drive through light show.
