Welp! It is Friday, December 22nd and it appears I made a mistake in yesterday’s issue. I put THUR DEC 20 in the subject line. I’m sorry about that! It can be confusing pulling content for different days but I’ll try not to let this happen again. Today is definitely December 22nd and there are three more days until Christmas! I’ll be sending a brief message to you on Christmas Eve, but otherwise, you won’t hear from me until the 26th. I truly hope you have a wonderful Christmas.

Colossal Christmas Tree

[OUR STATE] Since this is the last issue of Port City Pulse before Christmas. It seems appropriate to post this nostalgic story about a 75’ tall live oak which once stood in Wilmington’s old Hilton Park near the Cape Fear River and was lit up like a Christmas tree for 83 years.
