Cummins Drives Change: $580M Investment to Upgrade Rocky Mount Facility

[The News&Observer] Diesel engine manufacturer Cummins is investing $580 million to upgrade its Rocky Mount factory in line with its long-term goal to eliminate emissions. The project, expected to create up to 80 jobs, will enhance the Rocky Mount Engine Plant, operational since 1983. Cummins, which acquired the plant in 2008, celebrated its 40th year of operation in 2022. The investment aligns with Cummins' Destination Zero commitment to achieving zero emissions across its products by 2050. Nash County approved economic incentives, providing Cummins with 50% of the net increase in ad valorem taxes between 2026 and 2032, estimated at over $7 million.

This beagle mix is extremely shy. He needs a patient home that will give him time, love & attention.

He shows better outside of his kennel. He would possibly do better with another dog that is more confident in the same home & definitely with a fenced yard.
