64 US bank branches file to shut down in a single week

[Zero Hedge] PNC and JPMorgan Chase had the most filings for branch shut downs across multiple states. North Carolina was not specifically mentioned but definitely something to be aware .

Nov 21 - New Hanover County Board of Education meeting gets intense

I skimmed this meeting and there were some intense moments. It’s worth watching to see what is going on with our BoE members, their conduct and interaction with each other and perhaps most important, the policies that are being debated. Consider listening to a few of these debates and reading up on some of the policies.

0:02:20 - Pledge of Allegiance

0:03:27–0:12:30 Amend Agenda re:implementation of Parents' bill of rights - when to adopt - will go to December's meeting. Seems like the disagreement is regarding transparency and access of school curriculum

0:05:54 - Law was passed in August concern that there's no implementation

0:07:30 - Dr. Foust - questions What's your "Authoritative source" challenges no implementation

Kraybul wants minutes to reflect why section Z was not discussed. Bradford Says it was discussed

0:21:00 - IEP related in how it's related to equitable treatment

0:39:00 - Standards of professional conduct

From this point the discussion turned to a “Standards of Professional Conduct” policy. These discussions were quite heated. You can find section Z of 7205 on page 4 of this PDF–definitely worth reading.

0:44:00 Foust: Why do we have to have Letter Z? Kraybull - agrees. Foust appalled

Bradford: Says in the constitution: "All men are created equal"
Foust (passionately): "The constitution was not made for me..I don't want to get into this.."

Discussion was ultimately shut down at 55:00 where it was tabled for a future (December) meeting.

From there the discussion focused on policy 3540 regarding health and safety (sex) education. You can review this policy on this PDF.

0:56:00 - discussion about Health and Education program

1:14:20: Invocation discussion. You can access this policy here.
discussion on how to deal with invocation.

There were a few more discussions about policies but I did not follow them very well. The next board policy meeting will take place on December 12 at 1PM.
